DESCRIPTION:The WIA annual Workshop/Lecture Series is here! Women in Architecture Lecture Series is an annual 3-part interactive workshop session. This year\, learn the ins and outs of branding. The series will answer four big branding questions: what is it\, why do I care\, how do I brand myself/my business\, and how will my brand actually support my career goals? \nTelling the story of a brand is just as important as the brand itself. Through coaching and practice exercises\, attendees will explore and assess ways to tell the story of their brand\, whether personal or company in a way that is meaningful and makes an impact. Participants will review how storytelling connects people and ideas and how those connections can amplify and connect their brand to the desired target of either potential employers’ clients. \nLearning Objectives\n1. Demonstrate how to use storytelling to connect with people while communicating the value of your brand(s).\n2. Identify what digital platforms are best suited for your story to be told and to reach your target audience.\n3. Review how to use\, prioritize and leverage communication channels to promote your brand(s).\n4. Determine how storytelling can give a better perspective of your brand\, combat imposter syndrome and help develop confidence.\n5. Practice storytelling of yourself\, your company\, and others\, this can advocate for success for oneself and others. \nPrevious sessions took place on April 20 and May 18. \nMembers: $20 per individual workshop.
