SUMMARY:The Ins & Outs of Energy Performance Contracting
DESCRIPTION:Join Virginia Energy Efficiency Council for a free webinar in June on Energy Performance Contracting. \nEnergy Performance Contracting (EPC) is a budget-neutral option for state agencies\, localities\, and public schools to finance building upgrades while reducing energy use. Through EPC\, public entities are able to improve their building performance\, address maintenance needs\, and reduce their energy consumption – all while achieving a guaranteed level of energy savings. \nJoin this webinar for an overview of how EPC works and to learn about the recent improvements to Virginia’s program\, including new legislation allowing roof repairs and replacements through EPC to make roofs solar-ready. You will also hear from Loudoun County Public Schools about their experiences using EPC to enhance their buildings and meet their capital improvement and sustainability goals. There will be a time in the end for audience Q+A. \nSpeakers: \n\nMichael Barancewicz\, Loudoun County Public Schools\nCharlie Barksdale\, Virginia Energy\nSusan Gerson\, Loudoun County Public Schools\nJessica Greene\, Virginia Energy Efficiency Council\nNick Polier\, Virginia Energy\n\nRegistration is free but required. Register today.
