DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided tour of a single family\, net-positive Passive House in Del Ray\, Alexandria. This project consists of multiple energy efficient features and expects to be certified under PHIUS (Passive House Institute of the US). Construction will be complete December 2023. Come see the inner workings of what makes a Passive House. There are a few timeslots to choose from during registration. \nHosted by AIA Northern Virginia\, Women in Architecture\, and AIA Potomac Valley to celebrate Architecture Month \nMeeting Location: Front Porch of Home. For privacy reasons\, exact address provided via email a few days prior to the tour. \nFree. Registration is required.\nParticipation is limited to those 18 years of age or older. \nWe will be walking\, so please wear comfortable shoes.
