Saving Superman: Adaptive reuse for Providence’s skyline

After it was placed on the 11 Most Endangered Historic Places list, seven RISD students met with city planners, development consultants, local business stakeholders, and technical experts to design speculations for Providence’s Superman Building. This session will explore conceptual adaptive re-use strategies for skyscrapers, including housing, community development, and urban agriculture.
