Special purpose doors and windows are designed to meet a variety of performance concerns and specifications to ensure the safety of personnel and property and other specialized needs—including fire; acoustical; bullet, blast, and pressure resistance; radio frequency shielding; and more. This CE course covers the regulatory standards that apply to special-purpose doors and windows to ensure all requirements are being met.

4. Describe the security issues that must be addressed to ensure people, assets, and their work activities are protected in the event of a facility or personnel coming under deliberate/accidental threat and detail why special purpose door and window assemblies are an effective line of defense
