Various Career Paths Followed by Architects
April 18, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
At the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center (WAAC)
1001 Prince Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 (map)
Looking to the future, this panel discussion will take attendees on a variety of possible journeys for those with an architecture education to consider. From starting your own firm to working for a developer, working in a traditional architecture office to becoming a professor, or even pursing a completely alternative career, an architecture education provides and develops a unique set of skills that makes you a good fit for many different positions both inside and outside of the architecture industry. The key to landing the position you set your sights on is demonstrating to your future employer how your skills apply to their field even when it isn’t always obvious.
