Saving History: A Behind the Scenes Look

Experience a “Behind the Scenes” look at the past and present of The Blackburn Inn!

This preservation package is designed for architecture and history enthusiasts. Join us as we explore the work of architect Thomas Blackburn and the property’s transformation over the course of almost 200 years from resort-style asylum to regional correction facility to luxury boutique hotel, conference center and spa.

Participants will hear a presentation by owner and developer Robin Miller as well as tour the grounds, abandoned buildings, and renovated spaces on our 80-acre property. The package also includes overnight accommodations, a welcome reception, breakfast each morning, a wine tasting, and tickets to area attractions.
